The sound effects are also loud and on your face, but that matches the overall tone of this game, where you can never quite figure out how to feel about the Joker King.

This game leans into the Joker theme with its other bonus feature because it seems like a joke. The scatter symbol is represented by the king's crown, and how much bonus you get depends on how many scatter symbols you hit in a single spin.
